well since the turbo 300 needs some work i have no car. so im in the process of purchesing a 1986 non turbo 300. the car needs a head gasket. will be a winter beater/summer project. has a flowmaster exhaust and the rest is stock. will be a nice car when done. will hav more deatails when i pick it up next week. i will have 3 cars in my drive way!(well the volvo is going in the garage nxt week when i pick that up.) will have picks and a build list soon. ---

i would do that but for $300 its worht it to have a project or two plus ive already got a mint 1979 volvo 242 gt commin my way. ---

yeah its hellers. he called me yesterday and told me that it blew a head gasket and hew wold sell it for 300-350 so i told him that i will take it nxt week. ---

Id just rather have a dependable daily driver than a bunch of projects. Those Volvo’s do take a small block though. and definately send the head out. The fucktard that I had replace my headgaskets in September didnt and when the motor was apart again I had the heads sent out to be checked and one was warped a bit. I took it to an actual garage back then too. ---

i belive the 1980 and up model have a diff front end. ---
