Today while working diligently at the office, I came across an interesting ad on Craigs List. About 5 minutes later I get a call back, and they tell me when they need people. I take the shift on Monday night at 10pm. So I get to the convention Center at 10pm. People, cops, security just everywhere! This is when I find out its a VIP party and I am thinking cool, this should be fun. I am seeing all these famous people like Dave Winfield and Cal Ripken Jr. I think to myself damn this is pretty awesome, it can’t get any better. So my boss comes up to us at 1am. She informs us that we can go home and we will get paid for 4 hours tonight. Sweetness, 60 bucks to do nothing. One of the guys asks if we can go in the party, she says yes! So we use our creds to get in the party. I immediately take off my work shirt and throw my other shirt back on. And put the worker passes in my pocket. Walk up to where they were giving out baseballs to the people with VIP passes. And tell them I lost mine, can I have a ball. at first the lady told me I needed a ticket, then i said some pleases and boom… got an all star ball! ![http://www.pittspeed.com/uploaded/DSC00301.jpg](http://www.pittspeed.com/uploaded/DSC00301.jpg) ![http://www.pittspeed.com/uploaded/DSC00302.jpg](http://www.pittspeed.com/uploaded/DSC00302.jpg) So we head up stairs after we all take turns making up stories and getting baseballs. We head to the third floor where there is free food and drink. Head out to the terrace and notice everyone is smoking cigars. Looked around, there is a whole spread of cigars! Grabbed to Monte Cristo’s ![http://www.pittspeed.com/uploaded/DSC00300.jpg](http://www.pittspeed.com/uploaded/DSC00300.jpg) Then went and ate some amazing food! and then booked it out of there before the party started to thin out and we would get noticed. all and all, a pretty awesome night. I came out with 60 bones, an all star baseball, some good food and 2 monte cristo cigars! ---
