# My Okinawa, Japan Photograph Thread \*ongoing\*

went to Okinawa for about 12 days or… i am going through about 950 pix or so… I’ve only edited a handful… i am going to post here with captions on select pix and just add to this thread as i edit them. once im completely finished i will organize and place on my site, so these will be totally out of order. stay ‘tuned’ (LOLOL!) for car pix coming soon (skylines and silvias etc)
Local Park
These are roller slides… its like a bunch of little rollers, like rolling pins, and u sit on cardboard or anything like that and u slide down the whole thing… fun times
love this shot
the family i stayed with, the father is a marine and officer stationed there in Okinawa, took me on base and i went inside this KC-130… very cool, here is a pic of him and i in front of the plane.

this guy has a LOT of homework i bet
I sat under this tree and took a lot of pics of cars and random people at that intersection.
HAI GAI
Hedo Point, the most nothern point on the island
Foreground focused
Wave focus
Take from cliff at Hedo Point… was a spot of very bloody times during WW2
cropped pic of jungle near Aha Falls
Sunburst through trees near Aha Falls
keep checking for more ~ adding more everyday or so

Awesome pics! Looks like a fun vacation, I’m jealous.
I’m also a bit bummed that there aren’t any sweet English phrases on that wall. Maybe they don’t find it as cool as Americans do to have a foreign phrase stamped on their body:gotme:
