# My politics question thread

I have been listening to talk radio a lot recently and agree with a lot of what I have been hearing but I dont quite understand all of it.

So in my ongoing quest for more knowledge I have some questions that I’ll post here as they come up.

First up is when one talks of ‘recent polls’ who is polled? I have never known anyone to reveal the source or say they have been polled themselves. To me, it sounds like an arbitrary number made up for the sake of argument.

Polls are mostly garbage, IMO. You can make any poll say what you want based on how you ask the questions. Take them with a grain of salt.

Right, but who gets polled? is this like TV ratings? lol
