Ok, so a friend of mine took his dad’s business vehicle out for a spin when his parents weren’t home. He has no license (lazy). He hit a lady from behind and panicked and drove off. Obviously the lady wrote down his license plate and called the cops. The cops showed up at his house and gave him two tickets. One for hit and run and one for not showing ID (which he didn’t have since license counts as a valid ID and he doesn’t have a license). The tickets are on his name but he doesn’t have a license. How does one go around with handling these? They have already paid the lady for her damages and have a letter as receipt for the payment. Thanks ---

If the insurance company finds out an un-authorized person was driving his company car and got in an accident, your father and/or his company are in deep shit. Just mail the tickets in and pay them. If you’re not 18, you won’t be able to fight them without a parent with you. You are lucky you were not arrested. ---

Plead not guilty to tickets, bring lawyer and astroglide to court, do whatever you need to do to avoid getting points/having insurance notified ---

I would say don’t do anything, since you don’t have a license they can’t track the tickets ---

Do your self a favor and stop hanging out with this kid, it is only going to save you from problems in the long run. Also i am surprised that he did’nt get more tickets/arrested especially for driving without a license. ---

Fucking Idiot, If you were my kid i would beat your ass. This peron is loser. Way to show respect for your parents and his company.
