This is my s13 shell aka the Watermelon that i will be working on for a good 2-3 years to get it running n on the road. I’m 17 so theres no rush really because i got no money :s and still in school. my plan is to get an SR20DET running in it and after get it painted properly. I remember this car, doesnt it have a huge hole on the drivers side strut tower? ---

Hey man, Just a quick tip, When you embed your images do it with photobucket that way we dont have to click on the link to see the pictures. Just my 2cents but. the car looks good from the 3 pictures i bothered to look at ---

Yes, it is just as big of a deal as “we” make it seem. I’ve seen two cars this year, with struts that went through the hoods. Is probably the most unsafe area on a 240 to have a hole. Glad to see you’re getting it fixed. Definitely a warning from someone who has been around for a while… fix it before you put the motor in. Hahaha. Worst job to do with the motor in. ---

Then throw image tags on each side of the url, ![at the front, and]( at the front, and ) at the end. ---

I wasn’t trying to get you down on your project, just making sure you know what your getting into. I didnt look at it just because of all the complaints about the rust, but im glad your going to turn it into something nice. ---

Plus the car never came with any interior hardware(nuts and bolts) so thats gonna be a headache. ---

Thank for the feedback guys 😉 LMFAO thats a good joke man 😃 and yes i plan to fix up the body first (excluding the paint ) before i get the engine in … thank you again and keep it coming :thumleft:i will keep this thread updated when i get time to work on it 🙂
