regarding the spider. do to past experiences…i’m guessing that his car was stored. and there were spiders in the storage area. spider excretion (or shit), its extremely harmful to let sit on paint. It will literally eat away at the clearcoat, and then through the paint. After sitting for a while, it is almost impossible to remove. It even eats through gel coating on boats and yachts. if you have even just a few spiders in your storage area, over the course of the many months your car is away a couple spiders excretion, can result in needing an entire new paintjob. ---

LOL @ all the spider theories!!! Well the story goes i was on my way into work and i used to get off at the church st exit on le 190. Well one morning i was about to exit and the guy in front of me in some chevy pickup slamms on his breaks, thats where most people would say “oh he was following too closely and rear ended the guy” but no. I stopped with a little room to spare like 2-3 feet. I tried to look in front of him and the road is totally clear nothing infront at all. So the truck slams on the gas starting to go again and there are cars in my rearview getting closer so i hit the gas too. Suddenly the guy slams on his breaks again!!! And my brakes didn’t help me this time. my hood wedged under the bumper of this truck and im like oh shit this is some insurance scam… So we pull off the 190 into the adams mark parking lot he gets out and hes like im so sorry… Im thinking to myself not an insurance scam but i hit him so why is he sorry? Well he proceeds to tell me that there was a spider in his truck and he is allergic and went into panic mode… I called my insurance company and they took care of the damage but my insurance went up almost the exact amount of the damage. It probably would have been alot more with any other insurance company (unitrin direct\>\* for car insurance) ---

sucks! i had a similar experience during the transit strike. took me 2.5 hours to get from 23rd street to 4th street and i got hit AND RUN by a cab. i got his info though and should be going to a hearing pretty soon. ---
