Here is todays progress. I welded up the holes in the bay with 16guage. Ill be tossing on a filter to this. Is there a rubber gasket or rubber of some sort around the edge on those holes? It might not be a bad idea to add some if theres not just for some added safety that the pipes rubbing up and down the edges wont get worn all the way through. ---

yeah i figured you already though about engine movement with the pipes and rubber fittings from the look of how close the metal holte is to the pipe ---
