I wasn’t thinking of you turboing the montero… as much as I was thinking you would swap the larger motor into the VR4… and pick up half a liter… its a process… and a painful one, but it has been done.

That’s the 6G74 swap. The newer Monteros came w/ those, not this one. I don’t think the benefits outweigh the hassle though.
