for all of u who didnt watch…i was #21 ON A skidoo in snocross…they had it set up so u had to place top 4 in your 1st qualifier or u got elminated and went home… well i was runin 4th lookin to put a pass on 3rd place…and my teather cord (cord that attaches to rider and sled incase of accident it kills the engine) ya well the clip broke and it broke off my race jacket and i got dqed. I would havve made it to the semifinals no problem… i wasnt the only one in the boat tho… there was many riders (some who have won gold at snocrss before) who were sent home the 1st day cuz of mechanical breakdowns or crashes

I saw the run. The black flag of doom was pretty lame but saftey is huge. It had to be a rush nonetheless heading up to Aspen and being on TV, especially at such a hugely publicized event. :tup:

Damn, that blows. Reminds me of the GT3 Club race at Sebring last week where a piece of tire popped up and clipped the kill switch on a Cup car 5 seconds into the race (I believe he started 2nd). What a terrible way to end the day.

they got rid of hillcross cuz they needed to shorten the whole event down to like 4 days.
