Well i am not offering my input on if it will or not i could careless. What i am saying is that not everyone arrives with the same answers either based on how they were taught or other factors. ---

I am not reading 8 pages of this! I have said this thread after thread, **THE PLANE WILL FLY!!!**. Anyone who disagrees is a fucking water head. A plane is not driven by it’s wheels. Has anyone linked to the old thread yet? /thread. ---

PS, ground speed doesn’t mean SHIT, my roommate’s a pilot and has told me of days where with enough head wind it takes very little in the way of a take-off roll in order to get airborn -why? because of the speed of the air moving over the wings. that’s how planes fly, it’s got NOTHING to do with wheels - hell, some don’t always even HAVE wheels, some land on water, snow, etc… the reason it WOULD take off in actuality is that the treadmill can’t / won’t “match” it’s speed, and it will likely gain speed relative to the non-moving non-treadmill ground thus generating lift. groundspeed =/= airspeed and has more to do with landing than takeoff. /thread ---
