# naval Jelly

naval jelly is the greastest thing ever. the 81 cutlass i just got had some 100 spoke wires on it that were rusted pretty good. Brillo pads were working but it was a long process to get all the spokes. I made a trip to Pep boys and in the auto body section there was a spray bottle with naval jelly. I sprayed that stuff on and waited 15 minutes and i almost creamed my pants I strongly suggest this product for anyone that has surface rust on chrome.

what exactly is navel jelly? and what is its sole purpose?

I must be old. I used to use naval jelly all the time on my cars. I got excited when it cam out in a spray bottle and didn;t have to brush it on any more. (Yes, I have no life:D )

sulfuric acid gell/removing rust
be carfull what you put it on cause it will remove alot of other things too like skin and so forth
had a guy spill some at advance auto parts and got it all over his legs he had to go to the hospital for chemical burns it all so took the fake chrome and enamal (sp?) paint right off of our display
