# Need A/C help

On the Wife’s 98 neon the A/C stopped working. I checked it out and the clutch on the compressor keeps turning on and off. At the relay the power output is constant. I did notice a small leak on one side of the condensor, could this be causing the compressor to turn on and off repeatedly?? We bought a junkyard compressor at the end of last summer when we first got the car, so I’m hoping it not that.

If your low on R134a it will cause the compressor to cycle more…and if it gets to low a lot of compressors go into safe mode and stop cycling.
