i have a lathe to adjust the final ID and OD of the pieces i have to make, i just need stock to start with that gives me enough material to work with

final required sizes
first piece: 1.69" ID & 1.9 OD
second piece: 1.75 ID & 1.9 OD

typicly available tubing can be found in 1.75 ID X 2.0 OD , but i wonder about accuracy, as i would much rather have sligthly LESS then 1.75ID and have to open it up, then have 1.75+ and have to much slack in the part

and since this is a protype part, if i had the pieces machined im looking at 300+ for the parts, just to make stuff i already have the lathe for

call up Metal Supermarkets in Buffalo (elmwood and military) or Rober James Sales on Walden ave. Those are the only 2 places locally i can think of that you can purchase tubing/pipe without having to purchase a full lenght of stock.

How long?
I might be able to help with the second piece but the first piece would be a pretty heavy wall which I don’t carry.
