# NEED HELP: 3.8L gm engine

OK…need help trouble shooting.
93 buick riviera 136k
When i go to give the car gas while the car is cold the car wants to die.
If i give it a lot of gas it will accelerate through it.
If i put it into gear it stalls.
once its completely warm it goes away intermitently
If i unplug the MAS it runs the same.
Ive already changed plug/wires and tested the coolant temp sensor and the TPS
I think its the MAS
What do you think? maybe knock sensor? i unplugged that and it ran the same.
Bad gas? dirty injectors?

Clean the MAFF
take the IAC out and clan that, and the passage, and probally the TB. mainly behind the thottal blade. (egr)

problem fixed…it was the mas. i tried cleaning it but ino change. thanks.

johnny… you should find your 93 buick riviera before you look for your 93 buick riviera’s MAS.
Stick to MAFs … MAF boy.
