# NEED HELP ASAP

I went to go look at this bmw that some one posted on here that was on craigslist. the car is good it starts and runs and drives but it has a tic in the motor and i cannot figure out was it is any help out there. i want to buy it today.  
its a 91 318is

If the ticking sound matches the rpms it’s most likely rod knock. If it doesn’t it’s most likely the valves that might need a minor adjustment.

how hard is it to adjust the valves on these

easy. what year is the 318
