# Need help,  bmw soft ware update please

So is the dealer the only cat in town updating bmws? I just installed an aux kit in my e60 and need the software updated to recognize it. I need it done in the next couple days before a road trip. Bmw can’t get me in for atleast a week.

Sometimes throwing money at a problem helps. Maybe go in and offer the service manager fifty bucks or whatever it’s worth to you to get you in asap. It would cost you at least that much in time/gas to bring it to Rochester.

I’m assuming you called Towne? Do you know who you spoke with?

I recomend calling and asking for Adam (service writer) and explain the situation.
