I was doing a burnout in the Maxipad last night and now the tranny is acting all goofy. when I have it in reverse it acts like its in park. Neutral acts like drive. drive acts normal. wtf? any ideas what I fucked up?

look on top of the transmission for the linkage. pop the linkage off and have someone sit in the car, try shifting it on the transmission and see what happens.

of course not. The car shifts like butter going down the road. When it’s in Park it acts normal. When I put it into reverse it acts like its still in park. Then when I put it into neutral it acts like its in Drive.

it was a rainy night. Whitey can attest to the Maxima’s ability to fry them off in the dry. No neutral dropping necessary.
