# Need help SON! Subaru GC8 or Silvia Coupe?

Of course I know what EVERYONE will say, but I have a big debate for my “beater”.
2000 Subaru GC8 4dr

1993 Nissan 240sx Coupe 2dr
Pros on GC8
-4dr, more space
-awd
-vlsd
Cons
-higher cost in replacement for engine and parts
-less knowledge and less parts available

Pros on 240sx
-rwd
-more knowledge and cheaper part replacements
-vlsd
Cons
-2dr, less space
What I’m looking for is a car I can drift, which I can do in both. Seems like a pretty damn hard decision. What to do!?!?!

The wife also wants me to get the subbie.
Plus, deep down inside I REALLY want the SUBBIE rumble.
I’d get the most deepest sounding exhaust I can get made for the car if possible. The sound itself would be so badass.

^ That GC8 is converted to RWD.
With AWD 50/50, no you cannot drift like that.
STi with DCCD controller that allows the driver to change power input, to 10/90 then it is more possible (just like what you see in Ken Block’s vids) It’s a drift but you can still tell the car is pulling straight with 10% power to the front.

Anything but that Audi the tool mentioned above. I would probably go Subbie as well man, might serve better in the long run. My idea would be the buy the first one that springs up as a good deal.

SE-R is for the wife and kid (weekend car to drive places)
Subbie/240sx would be the car I drive to work and rip around and winter drift in.
