# Need Help:Turn Signal Mod

Okay so i want to do a small light mod on my s13 Silvia.
I’ve found the harness for the turn signals it was cut up.
I manage to get it wired up.
Just want to have my bumper lens to flash but 1second slower then the corner lens

The Harness for the turning signal is called Front Combination R.H and L.H.
It has 3 color:

Bulb 1. Negative(Black) and Positive(Green)
First Try.“Just connecting the Positive to Positive and Negative to Negative”
## I’ve connected the _bulb_ negative to the _car harness_ negative. Then I’ve connected the _bulb_ positive to the _car harness_ positive. … So it works the light flash and the hazard light flash
Second Try. “Attaching the Red wire to the Positive”
## Both turn signal were flashing and park light. So I though it was done and it was easy, but the problem happen. I didn’t notice it but when i was sitting in my 240sx the dash was flashing when i switched the turn signal up or down.
## Fix to the problem. " Unattached the Red wire from the positive"

## I found this when i was at school. So i tried “TEAMMiSCHiEFS14” steps on to do the alternate flashing.
## To see the pictures Please Copy the write up to the step 7 and past it in Microsoft Office Word.
Fourth Try.
## I’ve did everything from the step that “TEAMMiSCHiEFS14” did and end result was a fail.
I’m thinking on putting a resister in between the positive.
If anyone here thinks I’m doing it wrong please give a feedback that guides me in the right way to accomplish this small mod

your description is pretty fail and i have pretty much no idea what the hell you’re trying to do exactly
you need to be more clear about which exact function you are trying to get from which exact bulbs
all i can say is
you wont get an alternating flash between two already existing turn signals
the alternating flash only works when you convert a parking light to double as a turn signal (and it will only alternately flash when the parking lights are turned on. when the parking lights are off it will flash in sync.)
and you do that by connecting the parking light ground to the turn signal positive
