# Need Help With a Car Paint Situation!!!

Hmm. Were doing tri coats right now. The process goes 2-3 coats of primer surfacer. Wet sand with 400 and 600 till smooth and no shiny spots. Apply 2-3 coats of basecoat, or until coverage. Apply 2-3 coats of your peral(midcoat). Finally apply 2-3 coats of clear. Then wet sand with 1500 then 2000 then buff, polish and wax. I have no idea why you would mix peral in with the clear.
