# Need help with somes a problem

I’m currently have problems with my 91 240sx, need help to find what the problem is. Im going to try my best to explain the problem.

This started happening recently, when i shift into reverse and get the car moving there is this grinding sound, (not the same sound of gears grinding) more of a rougher sound. I have to stop the car, put it into neutral and then reverse, or i just step on the clutch again.

Same problem when im on a hill, and shift into gear 1, the car tends to roll back a little and the same grinding sound occurs.

My other problem is a constant sqeaking sound when driving, it sounds like a belt is slipping but not to sure. It is the same sound when you are reversing a car.

Any help would be much appreciated

the grinding sound when in reverse kinda sounds like it could be the release bearing…a friend has the same problem on his Supra
