# Need help with unlocking a Samsung phone

The code they gave me has 2 lb signs and 2 asterisks. When I type the lb sign it instantly says “wrong password” and closes. Every BB I’ve had is just a string of numbers, no symbols, is this a Samsung thing or did they give me the wrong code?

It’s from the UK. Kid left it in my car and didn’t want to pay to ship it back so I figured I’d use it. It’s a phone/digital camera.

Oh it’s from Orange network and you’re trying to use it on T Mobile or AT&T.

Try the last 4 digits of the old phone number.
