# need immediate computer help, big problem.

Powerbook g4 or macbook pro?  
G4 -\>  
while turning it on, hold down option-command-O-F  
at the prompt, type:  
reset-nvram  
set-defaults  
reset-all

and it will restart. While it is restarting, hold down the option-command-P-R keys and let it restart 3 times. Try that.
