I suggest checking out [radarsforrent.com](http://radarsforrent.com) Trying a couple before buying seems like a good idea considering how expensive the good ones are. ---

I went from an x50 to a V1 but only reason is because it was given to me as a gift. I definitely recommend the x50 if you want to save some money and I really like the smartcord. V1 is great if you have the extra cash ---

i got a 9500i used from ebay pretty cheap, the speaker was blown so I got a great price. Had a 8500 before that. The 8500 actually is a split second faster across x k and ka but I like the gps so I can turn off falses for good, Can’t comment of a v1 but my escorts have saved me countless times. Escort customer service is top notch in my book though. My last 8500 they re-adjusted out of warranty for free when it started falsing double ka. This was after 5+ years on the dashboard. And my 9500i I don’t even know where it came from but it needed a new speaker, and they just sent one to me free of charge after I posted a nice thread on their forum asking for help with it. ---

I have the 8500 and am very pleased with it. Kinda wish I waited a few months because thats when the 9500 came out. I have no experience with the V1 but read up on this site. [http://radartest.com/](http://radartest.com/) It’s how I came to buying the 8500. ---

Thanks guys, a local Turkish guido might sell me his 9500I for $250 cash. Fucker called me private to meet him and got mad when I told him to call me from his real number then apologized and said he really needs the money. BWAHAH. By the way I been doing tons of research 9500I/V1 seems to be same shit in terms of detection it’s mostly I have V1 it’s the best vs I have 9500 it’s the best. And [radartest.com](http://radartest.com) is a fraud, I saw that guy try to spam forums and in one instance he claimed V1 could not be configured manually and got owned. So yeah… paid shill. ---
