# Need some advice about Laptops

Thanks everyone for all the help. I know that 400 won’t really buy much, but I will really only be using it to type in word, and maybe do some research for school online. Everything else I will have my desktop. I know there are better ones out there for more money, but I can’t justify spending more for something I will just be using for school. I will have to look around. Thanks again

At the $300-400 price range you can get a great laptop. You’d be surprised how decent a 2004 laptop is compared to what is out there today. Sure it won’t be dual core but definitely more than enough for what you said you want it for.
