# Need Some amp help

Ok so heres the problem, my amp all of a sudden wont turn on…
1.) I have checked all the fuses on the amp and in the power wire, all good
2.) Checked and bought a new ground wire, its grounded to bare metal
3.) Remote Wire is hooked up to the radio fuse in fuse box, nice and tight
4.) Checked to see if there is a break or split in the remote wire, its fine
5.) The “protect” light is NOT on
6.) The “power” light does not turn on
I cant figure it out, usually if you pop a amp, it goes in “protect” mode. The day it stopped working I did not have it up loud at all, actually very low, and I dont turn it up loud at all. I am confused at this point. Any thoughts? Anyone who is a “pro” at this stuff I will toss you some cash to look at it.

First off, does it smell like “burning electronics” at all?
Also who makes the amp, what model etc etc

get a test light or multimeter and verify you have 12v to the power and remote connections at the amp, and use the ground wire at the amp to hook up your ground lead
