Honest suggestion: 1. Get a deer head 2. Open hood 3. Approximate opposite position of impact from under hood. 4. Place deer head in this position. 5. Slam hood. 6. ??? 7. Fixed hood. ---

Check some junk yards. LS400 are popular. I bet you could pick one up cheaper than getting body work done ---

I do have a spare hood, and just got back from Cole’s and Northeast Motorsports. Im leaning toward Northeast, but he did say that the whole hood would have to be done. How much do you expect a hood paint job would cost? I was quoted 350, the new hood is silvery blue so not anywhere near my black color… black is timeless, but the blue was so 90’s ---
