signed title… + insurance card + car to prove VIN = teh win any messenger service will do this. ---

AAA is good. If youre a member you can get the tittle change service charge for free. you just gotta pay for tax, plates, registration. They will give you the plates and stickers on the spot. Make sure to bring the title, proof of insurance and stencils of the vin# from the dash. ---

good deal i will head to AAA soon, got insurance for 199 for 6 months now for the tax on the car could i say that I only paid a 1000 for it? or how does that work? ---

i think the seller has to agree that it was “sold for that amount.” when i was transfering the title on a bike, we both agreed that it was “sold for $500” even though it was $3000.the only problem was there was a thing on the title (i think) that had condition and the condition couldn’t be checked as “excellent” because it was so far under blue book. ---

im not sure…i thought both had to be present at the time of the title transfer for it to go through. if not, then maybe you can try it. i’m pretty sure you dont need documented proof that it was sold for a certain amount, either way. at worst they might ask for a reason its so cheap. ---
