# Nelson Corner 4

So some people were asking me the right way to approach corner 4 at nelson, and I noticed most were assuming the curbing meant “apex”
curbing does not mean apex, it means clipping point. The actual apex of corner 4 at nelson is right about the middle of the circuit, and then just after you should be getting on the gas you’ll hit the clipping point (the curbing) and then accelerate out towards the outside of the corner.
Because there is no defined apex it is hard to find a good turn-in point, as you need to imagine the apex, it is esspecially tricky because you can’t even see the exit from the entrance.
At the lapping day remind me and jover to put a pylon where the turn in point and apex should be

"4: “Moss Carousel.” A tricky corner, maybe the most difficult, a bit off-camber through the apex and exit. Turn-in (a bit banked) is very important. Get braking done early. Stay out to the right (the track is quite wide here) then increase dialing-in until very tight. Feels like you’ll overshoot the exit, that you’ll run out of track, but you won’t. There’s a bit of cement here at the exit. Exits onto a gentle curving straight. 2nd gear.
Passing zone for intermediate or advanced drivers. "

Here is the line that i try to follow (purple). I go from one side of the track to the other sway drifting in order to link the turns.
