I don’t think he should get charged with manslaughter, but he deserves something just based on the fact that he was nailed _after_ the street racing deaths. If I had a bunch of law enforcement wanting to make an example of me bringing serious charges, I sure as hell would stay on the right side of the law until the trial. ---

I think one of the biggest things is that if I were street racing, and an accident like that happened, I think I would have to decency to just fess up and stop the car. How could you be so conscienceless that after a serious accident happens which you WERE involved in, that you just speed off? ---

I was involved in something like this a while back but it was not my fault though I did participate in the race. To put it short there was 3 of us racing and the kid beside me had lost control because of a slow car ahead and it ended up killing his friend in the back seat. I first thought STOP. That’s exactly what I did and did what I could to help everyone out while the police were there for over 6 hours with lifeflight and all. I only got some of this story because the article is no longer on the linked website so I only got a short skim through on here but if he didn’t stop to help save this kid there most definitely should be criminal charges against him especially with his previous charges of violating the law under control of a motor vehicle. He didn’t learn the first few times and still hasn’t learned. I was young when my incident happened and thank god I learned then. ---

LOL@ pleading guilty to a crime he did not commit. Thats the most retarded shit ever. It should have went exactly like this. Drivers license GONE for atleast a year. Probation for like a year due to racing. This is totally retarded, someone get bush to pardon this kid. ---

Well by the definition of negligent homicide he was guilty, and I’m sure his lawyer and the DA worked out a lesser sentance if he plead guilty to it. **Negligent homicide** is a charge brought against people, who by inaction, allow others under their care or presence intentionally to die. ---

Not if you ask the hypocrits of nyspeed. We should bring back the death penalty. I remember one of you hanging out of a droptop cobra while people raced down the thruway and side streets including transit where this kid was killed. It is easy to point the finger at someone who was involved. However point the finger at yourself to. You were this kids peer.you helped influence him into thinking drag racing was cool. You guys are my friends and I don’t mean to be a dick but something must be said. ---

I remember mixed reactions with the guy in the Honda or similiar that was drunk that jumped the median on Transit Road (I think) and kiled himself and someone else. I can’t remember all the details, but I remember a 50/50 split with reactions. ---

Did you even read what I posted, maybe not direct care but his presence and interaction. I’m not here to argue it again, in the past 10+ pages it’s been fought a who’s who and what’s what in this case. I agree he shouldn’t be charged with anything other than a lot of traffic infractions, but it is what it is and we’ll see what he gets sentanced. ---

Wait, wait, wait. I was on this kid’s side to begin with. But he’s still street racing even after a race he was in caused the death of two people??? Fuck. That. Shit. Lock him up. String him up.
