A dickhead with a Neon (Or any car for that matter) is a lot different than a well built motor being put to good use that happened to be available in a Neon at one point in time… That build looks to be well executed. So no, not mad. ---

So the shitty part of Neons wasn’t that SRT4 motor… ---

Actually a very good motor, so as long as he bolted it up to a good transmission, that’s pretty cool :tup: ---

nice! how much do these motors sell for (or cost to build)… knowing this is what makes or ruins the intelligence of this. would be a good candidate for going into an E30 ---

Prices went up a little bit since, but it’s still very cheap compared to other motors that will hold the power. That $900 price was for new pistons, rings, rods, oil pump, gaskets, pumps, etc… ---

He looks like he’s using the factory motor mounts on the chassis side, but I am not sure what he is using on the engine itself. It looks like it’s a cast mount, but it’s obviously not from a neon. ---

I know this is old but… that is really cool. I have an 80’s mustang vert with a 4 cyl… Got me thinking…
