# New Cobb AP v3

For those who may be considering grabbing the v2 Cobb AP, looks like v3 should be coming out pretty soon. Definitely a nice upgrade over the previous models, but probably not worth the cost if you already have one.

The new V3 comes with 2 interchangeable bezels!!!

As someone who now has use for the AP, im pretty excited about the new display haha. I’m glad I saw this on the ms3 forums, I was just about to pull the trigger on the v2. Functionally there still the same, but the new v3 is sooo damn pretty haha. Plus running multiple gauges seems like it is pretty handy.

The V3 definitely seems like quite the improvement over my v2. Once I set the tune on my MS3, I monitored it for a few days in the car while driving. Now I just leave it home and use it when needed. With the V3 I would probably set it up to be visible at all times.

Seems like a good idea minus the placement of the OBD port right by your clutch leg… driving with it always made me nervous…

I agree. I wish car makers would think of the aftermarket more. Maybe put the port in the center console or something?

Also, Dave, check out James Barone Racing for a nice way to mount the AP in the Speed3. I’ve got one and it works really well.

From what I hear, they will have a $325 trade in program for those with a V2 Accessport.

I def will, I need this and the HPFP internals stat lol. I’m just gonna wait till my motor breaks in a bit, I barely have 150 miles on it now =)
