wnyDSM did alright until it hit around the 10 year mark of the vehicles not being made anymore. If they still made them, people would still be interested and the site might still be around. There just wasn’t enough traffic to keep it going.
Diesels aren’t going anywhere. If anything have grown in popularity so it might do ok.
