You’ve been smothered by a an overly protective mother that doesn’t know that the best she is trying to do for her son is actually her worst. If I had grown up through highschool NOT thinking what you said about the age thing (and other things) my lovelife would be so different right now. But this is TNC. I’ll tell you my theories, teachings and practices in that area when I see you next. EDIT – In teaching most find it root to ask a seemingly older woman her age while the younger girls are _not so bad_ ---
