no, the srt-4 sts only works in the 2nd gen neons. thats like one of the forbidden questions of [neons.org](http://neons.org), lol.

damnit, cuz the 2nd gen shifter worked in a 1st gen for one of my friends, i think a chrome srt sts and ball would stand out a little in my car :blue:  
but this is off topic now so we should start posting in something other then the noob forum :tool: 🤣
