> Unless you used engineered wood on the floors I’d be very hesitant to use a natural hardwood in a kitchen, but that is just me. I would think after a while and the finish was worn that it would be very prone to water damage in a kitchen…plus like you said, you may not ever get it to match your existing hardwood :dunno:

Seems like it would not show alot of dirty and marks and I like a little bit of pattern
