# new member trying to join.

Hey,
Any mods or admins, I got an email from someone who’s trying to join, but has not got the confirm email, and cannot contact the forum via email for some reason. He says he gets a message about the server being down.
His screen name is 2004ctsv. Can someone help out here?

yeah i wasn’t getting the activation emails, took about 2 weeks before i got the email. I tried doing the contact thing on here and it did the same server error. i eventually found a email to use but another thing that helped was going to this link to get the activation email sent again. also i’ve got tons of server messages, seems like the forum is down often. this maybe the norm for all i know.

He should be able to login and post in the new members section. The email side of the site was malfunctioning for the first few weeks without error. It is now fixed and everyone should have started receiving e-mails.
