Glad that you made it back OK. It really is a depressing situation down there. I have a great girlfriend who is in Pass Christian, MS. She’s living in a trailer provided by sema but she is one of the lucky one…to have shelter provided to her, even tho it IS in her driveway of her destructed home… She had 19 feet of water in her house, just upped her flood insurance a few weeks before Katrina, AND is getting hosed by her insurance. She is still in the process of digging stuff out of black mud tryin to salvage what she can cause the ins. co. is totally dicking her around. Down to the cabinet fronts in her kitchen cause she just spent $40K on upgrading her home after her divorce that was finalized 6 months ago… Cheers to your effort and there aren’t many ppl out there that would do such a thing as you guys did. Your effort is a truely valient and noble one. 🍺 ---

Your effort is a truely valient and noble one. 🍺 I know about the insurance situation, Down in waveland mississippi a guy on the coast had the Gulf surge somewhere near 40 feet onto his home and atop that 20-30 foot waves. the insurance is only picking up 50-60k from what i remember what he said. he has a $250,000 beach front home. Nothing left whatsoever Down in Slidell, louisana people had raw sewage and all kinds of crap 15 feet+ in thier house. they offered food and water when we drove past. hell alot of good people in a terrible situation. Then you have the fuckheads in the Coves ( rich area ) that are squeezing every last damn penny out the insurance companys claiming shit that didnt even get damaged :mad: Your friend is lucky to even have a place to sleep. atleast she still can stay on her property. every thing in new orleans ( except ) metaire and dowtown are HAZARDOUS to anyones health litterally. mississippi and Saint bernards parish, chalmette recieved the full grunt of the disaster. it will never be the same. alot need to be bulldozed thank you on the last part 🆒 The news focused on new orleans, Mississippi got the worst / the news ---
