No-lift shifts are actually helpful (and fun), but wear on your clutch a lot (immediate, WOT change from X rpm’s to X-minus-a-few-thousand-rpm’s). Double clutching is, for example, redlining 2nd gear, pushing in the clutch and going to the neutral spot (not sure of technical name :lol), letting the clutch out completely (“engaging neutral”), then pushing the clutch in and going to 3rd. Necessary on cars with gearboxes that don’t have synchros, but really not necessary at all on modern/street cars (unless you REALLY want to over-baby the gearbox. BTW I clicked on the link in your sig and that’s the first time I realized that you had a pretty quick car :lol . Plan on getting slicks next year? I cut a few 2.20’s in my bone stock SER, with slicks you should be able to out-launch me :nana ;D ---
