yea number 1… you cant do an engine swap by urself that fast jesse… lol… having 4 people helps alot… and most people CAN do an engine swap in a weekend… looks awsome tho dude. ill be interested to hear another opinion of a ca18 other than mikeness. congrats. GT ---

LOL that pic of the car in the gas station is identical to me when i first drove it, i had no hood and went into a full service sunoco and they guy was like ok ill check your oil. i was like no its fine! hes like woah sunny your out of oil! This is pretty 🆒 Hopefully I have these kind of people willing to help me when I get around to doing my swap. I guess you were able to pull it off because you had your inventory in check and you knew you had pretty much everything to get that thing done. So when you say you did a swap in 12hrs or whatever, does that just include removing old and putting in new? Or does that include (mild) tuning the motor to get it running? And how stable is it? ---

For example. I did my wiring yesterday, it took me about 6 hours. Why? Because now you can’t see it anywhere in the engine bay except on the engine, it’s not something I wanted to rush so I took my time hence why my swap is taking longer. You also just did a direct transfer from the clip onto your car, it doesn’t take that long 😉 . You didn’t have to muck around figuring out the best way to fit in the intercooler, figuring out the best place to bolt stuff, etc etc. The engine looks very good, but don’t get cocky. ---

it has an exedy clutch disk with a really shitty oem pressure plate still have a vacume leak somewhere on the car that i have to find only had an hour to work on it today and it took 17hours from the time we dropped the clip in my garage removed ac from engine which was a good 40pounds havnt been able to use the boost gague yet because we dont have a small enough vacume line to use only have driven it around a few times engine runs smooth turbo has some play btw the 17 hours was from clip bein dropped to engine being fired up which it did right away still have to check plugs on it and the timing adjust idle if i have to once vacume is solved ---
