# new starter question!

can thwe starter spark when the positive and negatives are touched together and still be crapped out?

i got thwe starter to spark when bypassing the solenoid, but all that happens is a hear a spinning noise, and then a low grinding.

doubt the flywheel si crapped and doubt the motor is seized.

can the starter still be crapped out to the point where a new one will be needed and still spark like that?

rip it out, take it to a rewind place and have it rebuilt, will be 100-150$
