# NEW TRACK CAR / WINTER BEATER

Here is my new track car/ winter beater.
1986 vw scirocco JH 1.8L
things I can remember that are done to it.
race land coilovers, momo steering wheel, corbeau forza 2 seats, willans 6pt harness
nascar rear view mirror, euro rear bumper, china door handels, euro turnsignals,
tt adjustable cam gear, full eurothan bushings, ebc green stuff brake pads, cool blue brake fluid, stainless brake lines, 16v body kit (not installed), 16" oz f1 racing rims, H4 & H1 head light convershion, msd ignition, msd wires & coil,(added11/24/09) autotech header, 2" techtonics exhaust, hollow cat, front upper and lower streesbars, rear streesbar, eurosport shortshift, 15mm H&R wheel spacers, so much more i cant remember.
Things im doing
I just got done making the seat brackets. Soon i have to make the harness bar. In spring i want to put a cage in and line x the floor. I’m also waiting to here from the guy i got the car from for a race head its a solid lifter head and has a cam and ported and polished. next summer i need to put some time into the body keep it from rusting.

How is it a track car and a winter beater. And those seats look like fx1’s.

i have had them siting for 2 year waiting to go in something. i got them for my golf build but it will be years b4 its done.

I took a ride in Tom’s (1stgen) back in college and that car surprised the shit out of me. It threw me back in my seat.

Yeah, unfortunately I still have the Mustang. That might change in the spring though. Im sick of putting money into it and not driving it. It runs now and it might be time to cut my losses.
I no longer work in the automotive field. I did for about 4 years but then got kinda burned out on it and took a job completely unrelated to the field to pay the bills. I worked in a tranny shop for one summer and a body/mechanical shop for 3.5 years.
I didnt realize you didnt know who I was.
