really? i’ve never expierenced torque steer in my car I just loose traction on one wheel making it pull.

i’m impressed that a turbo that’s full spool at 2250rpm is holding until almost 6000rpm

Highest specific out put (power per displacement[130hp/liter]) engine gm has every designed I believe. I’d rock one, thats more power then most past muscle cars, lots of trucks, and still gets good gas mileage. Now all they need is a turbo v6 grand prix tuned to about 400hp.

Why would we want to put that much through the front wheels? Especially with the new G8 platform…
As for the Cobalt SS SIDI-T (for lack of a better term), it was only a matter of time, since they already engineered it for the HHR. It makes me wonder if this motor would fit in the lighter Astra hatch (2600 vs 2900 lbs)…

There already is a turbo astra.

Yea - but that Astra is a port-injected version, not the SIDI for the new Cobalt. And like you said, it’s unavailable in the States. I’d bet the SIDI-T version would do better than a 6.2 second 0-62 that the VXR does.

The thing made it around Nürburgring in 8:22 something. Anyone know how good that is for a FWD?

Suppose to be near 20 psi I read. Not sure if thats true.
