Hey guys we’ll me and a few buddies ripped out my sr on sunday ( braden, marek, and lukas). Well funny thing is that the motor had a gt2860r turbo on it. Well considering im putting all of this on another stock sr with greddy intake plenum, tomei valve springs. Is it safe to put it on or injectors needed/ tune? Also i read up and heard this turbo is capable of 300-350hp… now can my stock motor handle this, and what supporting mods would i need to make this power… I have regular stuff like fmic, bov, ebay tubular manifold… For flamers i have researched, but most peoples threads are based on there on setup. ---

You definately don’t need a tune to run this turbo on a stock SR. If you wanted to make more power then yes injectors and a tune would be necessary unless you are turning up the boost slightly, but you are certainly in the clear to run that turbo. ---

metal headgasket sr’s need one at 350whp mark i believe
