Hi, just moved to New york, hyde park/poughkeepie to be specific. I’m 23, name is Tyler, and I have a 95 talon, and a 92 talon, but i had to leave the 95 back in colorado until I am done with school (the reason i am in NY) So, the 92 talon is a tsi AWD, white w/ black top, lowered, bronze rota torques, and mostly stock under the hood. Hope to meet some cool people to hang out with/ cruise around/race with. Is there any weekly meeting spots or places where people cruise at in the poughkeepsie/hyde park/fishkill area? Is there any good meets in Albany, I’d be willing to drive up there every now and again if the meets were decent. Thanks! ---

DSM’s are very reliable cars when maintained and not owned by retards, unfortunetly most dsm’ers just destroy thier cars. I am kinda going through withdrawls with no car meets or anything because thats all i ever did back in CO. ---

Was driving to target today and I hear something loud about to pass me and look over and see a yellow EF hatch roll past me, and then right behind it was a truck, and the guys in the truck told me to race the civic. I told them i didn’t want to lose my license, but they told to race the civic again, i declined. Then, i went to red robin for lunch and some guy told me ‘nice talon’ and that he was looking to buy one… Plus I see a bunch of modded hondas rolling around so there is a scene here, just not sure how organized everyone is. ---

I LOVE the poughkeepsie area… right along the hudson and whatnot… used to cruise out and camp at mills-norrie state park… awesome roads out there. Unfortunately it’s been a few years since i’ve ventured out that way. other than that, i have no input for the “scene” out there. get pics of your cars and welcome to the site ---
