Just found this site from a link off of the v board. I have had my spec v for about five months now. I’ve added a nismo CAI, rims and a flowmaster muffler. ---

My car is an '05, sunburst, with the premium sound system, I didn’t get the brembo package though. I bought the car new from Sunridge Nissan in Calgary in september. ---

I was looking for a four door car that didn’t make me look, or feel, old. The first car I tested was a Mazda3. Nice interior but the performance was not up to my expectations. So I went over to the dodge dealer and took an SRT-4 for a rip. Nice and fast but it screamed POS neon. Plus the salesman would not allow my wife to ride with us for some reason. I then looked at the civic si, but I couldn’t get yellow and after I drove the SRT-4 I knew I needed more power then the civic could give. The Mitsubishi Lancer was my next test. I have to admit I liked it, but the ride was too squishy. So I was undecided. My wife actually pointed out a red 04 spec v while looking at the ION supercharged. I took it for a rip and knew I wanted one. The dealer in red deer was trying to pull one oer on me buy selling an 04 for the same price as an 05. I phones Sunridge and they orderd the car I wanted. So that’s how I came to own a spec v. ---

Nice - I fell in love with the Sunburst too. I never even got to take the Mazda3 out the door - at that point they were charging a premium for the sport model and I didn’t feel like paying SRT money for one. Anyway, again, welcome to the club - just ignore the cries from the s13 guys, they’re all haters! :E ---

Damb West End Nissan Only had a Red 05 and I didn’t want to wait for a different color. I miss my Black 04… How cool you were. :cry But I remember test driving a 1.8s… lol that sold the spec that day. ---
