Is it possible to swap a KA24DE from a newer Altima into an older 240? Say 97 into a 91 repectively. I imagine some things would have to be done about the computer and the FWD vs RWD set up. Let me know if anyone has ever heard of this before. -R ---

Dont think its gonna work. Wouldnt the mounts be way off? Anyone have a solid answer? ---

Its a waste of time, just find a newer RWD engine and call it a day. ---

That’s kinda what I figured. Too bad though cause there is a billion Altima’s out there. -R … I suppose you could use engine parts from a newer 2.4L from an Altima.? ?
