oh man. Must be the hardest car to drift. Probably similar to an MR2. Snap oversteeeer.
Those racks are EASY to build. Maybe we’ll do those too!

Mid-rear cars are super easy to drift if setup properly. NSX’s and MR2’s and Boxsters.

So I got my software…
First cage… learning how to use the software.
Unfortunately the tools are going to be a while before they get here ☹
This isn’t for anything in particular… Just a practice piece.
The program also tells me where to make all my cuts and bends. Where to index the piece before the next bend is made. Coping sheets for every intersection. All measurements… Everything…

Track legal?
Well… my usual practice of wood glue and popsicle sticks usually gets me past tech.
Sometimes I have to beef them up with paper mache.
Is that the answer you wanted Sean?

Do you use the edible glue? In case of a roll-over somewhere in the dark forest people get hungry you know…Something you should consider using as per material Mark.

No. No license is required to fabricate them. My fab guy has been building cages for a long time now, and the final result will pass any racing sanction they have been designed for. Final approval would be getting tech’d at mosport. If that’s what you want your cage to be able to do, that’s not a problem at all.
Granted, the majority of caged cars are simple 4 point roll bars for street-oriented cars.
