played the demo on 360 earlier… and WOW!!! right off the bat you can tell and feel the game play difference from NHL 07. 08 blows it out of the water. damn this does look good. i never got used to 07 ( although i didnt own it ) i’ll have to grab a burned copy of this game ASAP ---

gameplay on the 360 '07 was “meh” to me, so hopefully your right about it being different, definitly will be giving it a shot :tup: looks great ---

too bad the pc version is gonna suck graphically. Ill still end up playing it for 360 at some point. ---

I cant wait for this game to come out. I love NHL 07 and hope NHL 08 just keeps getting better. I didn’t like the sticks at first but once you get used to it, its pretty nice. ---

i have had this on reserve from game stop since 3 months ago and im still waiting! this game is going to rock Skill Stick sucks if your a n00b your better off with the classic play but once you master it its like having their goalie have all moving body parts tied up. ---

score this is one september 11th im looking forward to…giving me exactly 2 weeks to burn through a season before halo3 consumes my life for at least a few months until GH3 comes out at the end of october… ---

my hockey week: sunday: 2 roller leagues with the buffalo wings monday: ice @ holiday tuesday: roller @ epic wednesday: was roller @ pepsi with fidelis, but might switch to ice @ pepsi thursday: ice @ holiday friday: ice @ holiday saturday: your mother i play plenty of real hockey foo…let me know what your guys fall/winter schedule is and maybe i can squeeze it in 😛 ---

I played this demo the other day and I thought it was horrible. It’s hard to control and it feels really cheesy and limp. 2K7 had much better feel and better animation. I’m looking forward to 2K8. ---

This years game in my opinion is geared more towards the realism of the game. It seems like they’ve made a lot of changes to make it more like actually hockey with the speed of the game, deflections, almost everytime you slash you get a penalty. I actually like this one a lot better. I couldn’t play with the sabres last year w/ the old jerseys lol ---
